Bernardo Brener, PhD student at Mechanical Engineering Program (PEM) of the COPPE/UFRJ, highlights how the high level research carried out at the institution allows access to best universities and puts Brazilian science in the spotlight. He participated in a summer project of three months in Stanford University, our United States, and carried out his research for a year at Paris Tech, and on France. “These experiences were only possible thanks to the excellence of the research carried out here, which is recognized worldwide,” he explained.
Bernardo shared a moment that illustrates Coppe's prestige abroad, mentioning that a colleague in France often quoted a professor from Coppe, demonstrating the high regard for Brazilian research. His trajectory serves as inspiration for new students, reaffirming Coppe's commitment to training excellent researchers and strengthening science in Brazil.
